EdTech Institute

Technology in education, covered for the people who actually teach.

EdTech Institute writes for educators, school leaders, and parents who want to understand how technology is changing classrooms. Not the press releases. Not the product pitches. The real questions: What actually works? What are the risks? What do teachers need to know?

What We Cover

AI in the Classroom How AI tools are actually being used in schools, what works, and what teachers need to know before adopting them.
Digital Literacy Preparing students for digital life goes beyond “don’t cyberbully.” We explore what real digital readiness looks like.
Student Wellbeing Screen time, phone policies, mental health. We cut through the panic and the hype to find what’s useful.
Teacher Tools Honest coverage of tools that help teachers do their jobs, with real assessments of what’s worth the learning curve.
TechEQ Our framework for emotional intelligence in the algorithm age. Helping students understand what’s happening inside when they’re online.

Our Perspective

Teachers are becoming more important in the age of AI, not less. Technology can handle content delivery, personalization, and assessment. What it cannot do is see a child. That’s what educators provide.

Preparing students for digital life requires more than rules and warnings. It requires helping them develop internal awareness: how technology affects their attention, their emotions, their sense of who they are.
